This Weekend was our last Cheerleading Competition for the year. Getting ready we could not find Jennifer's Hair extension. It is the one they wear when they have the curls. We realized this when we were about to leave for competition Saturday morning. Not enough time to curl her hair properly so we called Connie who no longer cheers at our gym to see if she still had her curls. She Did, however they had been stored away for a while and they weren't in great shape. This was OK since Bad curls were better than no curls at all. Well right in the middle of the routine, Jen comes to the front of the stage an takes a knee. When she did I busted laughing at the sight of Jenn's hair. I know she could see us laughing, cause I could see her looking at us. The following picture tells the story far better than I ever could.

Even with the bad hair day, Her team got a great score. They went into Sundays performance with the lead an a lot of confidence.
Sunday was a little better Hair day since they wore thier hair down.
We had a few hours to kill between the performance and the awards so we went to The Hard Rock for a bite. And not to mention they happen to have TV's with the ballgames on.

When they got on Stage, I was so proud of them when they got the Spirit award. Presented by Jammy (The JAM FEST Mascot) himself.
Then, the moment we all waited for. All The hard work, all the practices, all the moms and dads fundraising to pay for all this. "VALLEY XTREME CHEER NATIONAL CHAMPION"

Way to go JENN! I guess I'll have to make a one shining moment video. And not to leave out the best part of the day. We stopped on the way home and got an Ice cream. Weeee Doggies!!!!!
