Jonathan's Big Adventure

Well the first day of school didn't go so well at the Lindsey household. At about 6:30 a.m. I was working and I received "THE CALL". I looked at my phone only to see it was from Linda. Now you have to keep in mind that Linda only calls me at work when something is wrong. Rarely does she call me that early, so I knew it wasn't the bring milk or pick up supper call. I answered the phone and Linda told me she was in a ambulance with Jonathan on their way to the Hospital. Jonathan was taking a shower this morning an fell out of the shower. When Linda got in there to him his eyes were rolling back in his head. He was very weak and somewhat disoriented. She thought he lost his balance and hit his head. She called the ambulance. Now I wasn't there but I can only imagine what a basket case Jennifer was. And I can imagine our dog was real happy with the EMS guys in the house. I left work and met Linda and Jonathan at the Hospital. They ran a bunch of tests on Jonathan. The conclusion of the doctors was that Jonathan was dehydrated. He passed out, standing in the shower. We thought he just lost his balance. Luckly he wasn't injured, with the exception of a bruise or two. Once they got him hydrated he seemed fine. So we all came home from the hospital an took a family nap. Sitting here thinking about the day, I thank God we have our health. This day could have been ALOT worse.

what caused him to be dehydrated?

That is scary, and I truly hate those CALLS. I'm glad he's ok. Has he been sick? Wonder how he got dehydrated?

I hope he's ok now. How in the world did he get that dehydrated?

I have to agree with the others. That is very scary.
It's never pleasant when you have to take your child to the hospital. Especially by ambulance.

Keep us posted........
